Walker Group, Inc. - Fairfield, Iowa - USA:

Working with Walker Group, Inc. as an Insurance Adjuster, I spent
2 months last fall (2004) working 12 hour days in Orlando and Pensacola,
FL helping people get their lives back together after the 4 hurricanes
raged through. I inspected and estimated over 70 damaged properties.
Currently for Walker Group, I am working on: setting up accounting
systems, a new website (with Mr.
Caleb Flynn) and training new adjusters in Xactimate,
an adjusting software that we use. Soon, I will be working on operations
and claims auditing systems.

Reverie
Reverie I and Reverie II are two, evocative, surround sound video
installations that bring together music, video taped dance and
performance, textual references and digital animation, in the
examination of processes and structures generated from paradox.
(2001-02)
This and That
This and That, a 5 minute experimental video, uses video taped
improvisational dance, music and text, to evoke a liminal realm
or experience. (2000)
The exhibition Project Reverie has secured sponsorship from the
Visual Arts Gallery and Mahendra International Inc. The video screening
and exhibition are scheduled for April 2004 at the DakshinaChitra
Centre, Chennai, and in May 2004, at the Visual Arts Gallery, India
Habitat Centre, Delhi, India.
Reverie was shot on location on mini DV at Port Douglas and the
Daintree River, Queensland, Shelly Beach and dance studios in Sydney,
Australia, the Dance Center of Columbia College Chicago, USA, and
the Thames River, London. While instrumentalists improvised for
Reverie II, Reverie I used a more conventional compositional approach
for both instrumental work and voice. The video taped sequences
were edited in Final Cut Pro at Akkshara, USA. The music was created
on Protools and mixed at Main Studio, University of Western Sydney,
Australia. The final project was authored to DVD by Cheese Multimedia,
Australia.
Reverie I was shown in its video installation format at Sonic Circus,
University of Western Sydney in 2002. Reverie II was previewed at
QPIX, Brisbane, Australia in 2002 and in New York at the School
of Visual Arts in 2001.
